近年來，病人安全已成為世界各國在醫療政策與研究的熱門議題，也讓醫療機構與醫療人員不得不正視醫療品質的改善與確保病人安全。本課程的設計目的在於探討醫療品質的發展歷史、從個人層次、疾病別、部門、組織\機構、組織之間及整體系統的測量、介入或評估，以及臨床上品質改善的各種方式，包含美國最佳醫院方法學、以病人為中心、病人經驗、病人深度參與、專業課責、實證醫學、臨床作業指引、品質指標\核心測量、臨床治理、品質報告卡、論質計酬等種種課題。再加上醫療錯誤與病人安全的定義、原因、理論、分類、常用方法與工具(RCA, FMEA)、個案討論、國內外發展趨勢等。In addition to quality of care, patient safety becomes another hot issue in health care system. This course will cover major topics for quality of car and patient safety including the history and trend in quality of care and patient safety, quality measurement in patient-level, disease-level, organizational level, physician level and organizational-level as well as best hospital methodology, patient centered care, patient experiences, patient engagement, accountability, clinical governance, report card, and pay for performance. Definition, classification, reporting system, tools and measures in patient safety will be cover, too.
